Chattriix is operated by the team at chattriix.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@chattriix.com.

What we collect from visitors

• Anonymous traffic data: pages viewed, country, and referrer — collected via privacy-respecting analytics. No personal identifiers. No advertising trackers.
• Browser session cookie: one cookie if you sign in to manage a subscription. No third-party tracking cookies.

What we collect from subscribers

• Email address, to deliver receipts, episode notifications, and respond to your messages.
• Payment method, handled by Stripe (our payment processor). We never see or store your card number.
• Subscription tier and history, so we know which content to unlock for you.
• Country and billing address, only where local tax rules require it.

Why we collect it

To run subscriptions, send the episodes you signed up for, comply with tax law in your country, and answer your questions. We do not sell your data, ever.

Who else sees it

We share data only with vendors who help us run the service, and only the minimum they need:

• Stripe — processes payments (no card storage on our side).
• Email sender — delivers receipts + episode updates.
• Hosting provider — serves the site.

All of the above are bound by data-processing agreements consistent with GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California).

How long we keep it

• Active subscriber data: as long as your account is open.
• Receipts and invoices: 7 years (tax-law requirement).
• Analytics: 14 months, aggregated and anonymous.
• Cancelled accounts: deleted within 30 days of your request.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

• Ask for a copy of every piece of data we hold on you (one-week turnaround).
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it (subject to the tax-record exception above).
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails — every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Children

Chattriix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has signed up, write to us and we will remove the account.

International transfers

Our servers are in the EU. If you visit from outside the EU, your anonymous traffic data may be processed in the EU under standard contractual clauses.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll email subscribers and post a notice on this page at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
